BIO 112 - Principles of Biodiversity 3 Credit Hour(s)
This course explores the incredible diversity of life forms on Earth and the processes that drive their structure, function, and interactions. Taught from an organismal biology viewpoint, this course examines the evolution, taxonomy, anatomy, physiology, and ecology of plants, animals, fungi, and microorganisms. Students will develop a deeper appreciation for how life has adapted to a wide range of environmental conditions and the intricate relationships between organisms and their ecosystems.
