 This course introduces fundamental concepts in statistics and probability, covering descriptive statistics, measures of central tendency and dispersion, binomial and normal distributions, inferential statistics (including one-sample confidence intervals and hypothesis testing), correlation, and simple linear regression. Students will engage in practical applications to analyze real-world data, enhancing their understanding. Designed for those seeking a solid foundation in statistics, the course also includes an overview of statistics software.
 
 Prerequisite(s): C or higher in MTH 120  or MTH 130 , Placement into MTH 150  or Instructor Permission
