This course introduces diversity as a multi-dimensional concept and stresses the importance of understanding and valuing diversity. Students will study principles of diversity, how to create effective relationships with parents, and how to nurture community partnerships. In addition to online work and discussions, students will participate in classroom observations in the field. Background check required.
