IDS 115 - Critical Analysis of Texts
3 Credit Hour(s)
Introduces students to fundamental techniques for critically thinking about texts from academic and popular media sources. It focuses on developing skills, strategies and habits that will help the student to analyze these sources in order to learn and increase comprehension. Readings will relate to social issues in a diverse world. Writing will be required.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Olivet Opportunity Program.
