EDU 553 - Individualized Education Program (IEP)

This course offers in-depth training on developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized education plans (IEPs). It covers ethical principles, family and student rights, and legal requirements. Students will examine IEP components, terms for writing IEPs, and best practices. The course also addresses educational equity, health, safety, confidentiality, mandated reporting, record-keeping, accountability, and discipline, ensuring comprehensive support in special education.
