EDU 560 - Data Recording

This course provides an in-depth understanding of the federal laws protecting student education records’ privacy and the connection to special education documentation. It covers the ethical and legal responsibilities regarding student records, including maintaining, releasing, and transferring records. Students will learn strategies to ensure confidentiality, develop processes for sharing IEPs, and understand the implications of managing student information securely. In addition, students will design their own process of recording and analyzing data from their classroom experiences.
