This course emphasizes the importance of parent and caregiver involvement in education and developing meaningful school-community relationships. It covers strategies for engaging parents, guiding classroom involvement, and utilizing their skills to enhance student learning. It also focuses on creating positive classroom environments, fostering community-building activities, and implementing cooperative learning strategies to increase students’ cognitive activity and personal dynamics. This course requires a school-based field experience.
