BIO 404 - Evolutionary Genetics

An advanced exploration of evolutionary theory through the lens of genetics, focusing on population genetics, molecular evolution, and medical genetics. Topics include genetic variation, natural selection, genetic drift, phylogenetics, and the evolutionary basis of human disease. Emphasis is placed on the application of evolutionary principles in medicine, conservation, and biotechnology.
