This course focuses on planning, organizing, and conducting effective IEP meetings. Students will read case studies and practice skills by preparing for, running, and following up on IEP meetings. Emphasizing collaboration with families, staff, and community members, the course covers ethical principles, legal requirements, and best practices, ensuring comprehensive support for students. The course also addresses scheduling, parental notifications, and the roles of various stakeholders, aiming to refine the skills necessary for successful IEP meetings.
