EDU 555 - Learning Team Communication
3 Credit Hour(s)
This course focuses on the vital role of special education teachers in maintaining and documenting communication with the learning team. Students will learn to coordinate services from paraprofessionals, therapists, and social workers, ensuring all supports and accommodations are scheduled and provided. Emphasizing strategies for effective communication, co-teaching, active listening, and overcoming barriers to family participation, this course fosters collaboration and trust among educators, families, and K12 students.
